Virtual Phys Ed class happening now in Shane’s bedroom…
Kids have a hybrid schedule where they’ll do virtual learning in the morning and go to school in the afternoon.
They came back from school so happy and full of stories to tell! We sat around kitchen island talking about their friends, new teachers and everything else while eating snacks. I missed this time with kids! I’m so thankful for our teachers, faculty members, administrators and everyone else for all their hard work for preparing and making this possible for the students!

What an awesome night catching up with friends! After dinner, I sent my family home and three of us sat out until 11pm chatting, enjoying the beautiful summer night. So Fun!
Shared Konmarie method with Shane. Inspired by my recent read, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, I’m going through category by category in effort to tidy up our house. Today, we tackled Shane’s clothes. He folded up all his clothes so he can see and now he know what clothes he has instead of always wearing same things over and over again. Big accomplishment!
Since I’m not able to hike (still in recovery mode) we drove up to the Equinox mountain before heading home. The summit offered breathtaking panoramic views of the Green Mountain, White Mountain of New Hempshire, Adirondack, Berkshire and Taconic mountain ranges.
Wife, Mother, jewelry designer & graphic designer /Creative Director, I am HaeWon Cadence Ryu. This is a glimpse into my life’s blessings, passion and inspiration.
This blog came to fruition after I began motherhood; I wanted to be able to capture every millestone of my two beautiful children - Chloe & Shane as they journey through their early years. Since the launch of my online jewelry site, cadencelee.com, I’ve come face-to-face with having to juggle multiple roles. As a result, I have decided to feature some of my designs and inspiration alongside postings of my precious family. For me, this is the perfect medium of work-life balance.
