It was my birthday last week and as a present to myself, I got a brand new root canal. Yay.

I think I was just so tired from travels and work, my old root canal that I had for years got infected. Long story short, I ended up in ER last weekend, then had to stay in bed for a few days. I was in a lot of pain but at least I got to spend a nice and quiet week at home… Thank you Usha and Maude for the beautiful flowers!

Every morning, I look forward to getting a latte first thing.

After work, I also got to  enjoy a little R&R…

I jumped through hoops and hurdles at LaGuardia airport yesterday after the big snow storm and barely made it out to Florida last night. Phew. I didn’t think I’ll make it.

Chloe’s braces are out! Yeah!

Kids went outside in the midst of the snow to build a snow castle…

We are completely snowed in with the big storm today and I was supposed to fly to Orlando for a business trip.  My flight got cancelled and rescheduled several times and I’m now scheduled to leave on Monday for my trip. I had planned to prepare food for the family to eat while I’m gone but we ended up eating most of it this weekend.

It’s our last night in Steamboat. It’s been an amazing week spending time skiing on the beautiful mountain and to be hosted by this lovely couple. We’ll miss you so much!

Judy’s been putting leftover food right in front of their house for this fox come and eat every night and I got to see this sneaky little pretty animal last night! So cute!
