Shane went his friend’s house for a play date this morning. I always feel bad that I don’t really get to schedule play dates for him as I do for Chloe…one of many “working mom guilt”. So I took today off from work and was able to drive kids to different play dates.

So happy Shane got to have this time at his friend’s and the mom sent me these photos and the video. Thank you Diana!

Grilled fish taco night

Me: How’s the taco, Shane?
Shane: Very good. I learned a life lesson today. (pointing his index finger up)
Me: What is it?
Shane: Always eat taco when there’s one!

This is how we typically eat dinner these days. Trying to finish homework and eat dinner while we catch up before running out the door to the next activity.

Kids joined our town’s Rock N’Roll Run for Education this morning.

Tons of crawfish!

We were invited to our friend’s annual crawfish party in their backyard last Saturday. I’ve never seen so many crawfishes in my life before.  They had mountains of these on every table and the refills kept coming out.

I was showered with cards, notes, coupons and gifts!
