Bar Harbor is even more breathtaking than I imagined. 

We’re staying at the Harborside Hotel which is right on the water and conveniently located downtown.

Across the water is Bar Island and during low tide we were told that we can walk to the island.

Ever since Chloe and Andrew watched this food truck featured and voted as the #1 lobster roll on Food Network TV, they have been looking forward to it.

Portsmouth is a cute little town with lots of Antique shops and restaurants.

Chloe and I took a morning walk around the town and got smoothies for breakfast.

We are on vacation this week! We’re heading to Bar Harbor, Maine but to break up the long drive, we decided to stay in Portsmouth, New Hampshire for 1 night and made it a family golf day.

I got myself a very cute private chauffeur!

He’s a cautious driver and  drove me around safely!

And he even took pictures in between.

Today I took my kids and my parents to the pop-up Museum of Ice Cream in the heart of the Meatpacking District with a lick-able, likeable, shareable ice cream-centric experience!

First, we were greeted with a flavor-of-the-week, boysenberry ice cream. Delicious!

Now that swim team is over after 8 weeks, we’re just hanging out playing in the pool every other night. Love summer!
