So I’ve been pretty sick for a couple of weeks now(turns out I have double ear and sinus infection) plus I’ve been late every night this week for work events and church meetings, I kept forgetting to sign Chloe up for a school activity that she really wants. The deadline is tomorrow (thank God!) so Chloe left these “reminder notes” everywhere in my room, closet and bathroom!
And it worked! I didn’t forget this time. 🙂

This morning, I came bright and early for our team building/trend track day, visiting museums and doing all kinds of cool stuff. We have an amazing fun day planned ahead so I was super excited. Then I happened to pass by 9/11 Memorial site… I couldn’t believe it’s my first time being here…ever… As I was passing by I felt the heavy emotions and uncontrollable sadness, and of course, I began crying like I always do. I’m a crier… With all these crazy things we hear on the news these days, I was just overwhelmed … After a few minutes of pause and a prayer, I gathered myself and moved on. I am thankful for the faith I have and that I was reminded of God’s providence… in the end, no matter how our lives end here on earth, we will be with our creator and we will have the final victory against evil…

This year, we decided to stay home and cook a Thanksgiving meal together as a family. Chloe and Andrew are making an apple pie together…
These two are talking more than working…
And Shane also helped making truffle oil garlic mashed potatoes.
I got this spice mix from Williams Sonoma and brined the 13lbs Turkey for 48 hours. We’ll see!
