Lunch menus
Wednesday, November 18th, 2015I try to make hot lunches for the kids every morning. I guess growing up in Korea that’s what my mom used to do for me and my brother until we graduated middle school…I think about her every time I’m packing kids lunches…

Grilled chicken sandwich with sautéed onions and mushrooms

Tuesday, November 17th, 2015Slumber party – kids & adults!
Sunday, November 15th, 2015We had a family of 5 over for a sleepover last night. While kids played at home with a babysitter, we adults got to go out to a nice relaxing dinner. Then after kids went to bed, (oh I don’t know like around 10pm), we stayed up late chatting while sipping Irish coffee.
What a great time we had! Thanks for coming over Lee family~
Pure Yoga
Tuesday, November 10th, 2015In celebration of Halloween, my yogi friend/coworker and I went to a blacklight yoga class at Pure West in the city. It was so much fun!
I started taking yoga classes last year in september and I feel like my body has changed since then. I have issues in my neck down to my lower back for many years and honestly, my pain has been significantly better if any and it’s because of yoga! I highly recommend to all of my friends and I can’t wait to introduce Chloe to it. My big concern with yoga before I started was spiritual aspect to it. You are told to “meditate” and empty out and clear your mind and I don’t agree with some of yogi beliefs. I learned to use the meditation time to pray to God and ask the Holy spirit to “fill me” instead of emptying out my mind. It also helped that I found a really great contemporary flow yoga practice in LT gym. I love it!
