Kids took swim lessons for a month, twice a week to brush up their skills. Phew, it’s been a busy month and I’m so glad it’s over!

shane’s prayer
Sunday, October 11th, 2015We take turns praying every night during our family devotion and each day I’m really blessed how their prayers have evolved. I have to record to remember what Shane said in his prayer today because it was so lovely and endearing. He prayed:
Dear God,
Thank you for providing us with shelter and water and everything we need to survive…and please open our hearts and ears so we can listen to your words.
And please help me not love video games more than you…
and please send holy spirit to help us to be good listeners…
and help us to honor you.
In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
We are the first ones out in the field this morning for soccer because I got the wrong date for the picture day. Oh well, sorry I rushed everyone for nothing.
We were the only ones here for a while.
Shane played really well today.
Chloe buried her head in the book. As usual.
tea party + jewelry sale
Saturday, October 10th, 2015My friend hosted a beautiful afternoon tea party for my jewelry + beauty counter sale today.
Honestly, I was not feeling too well and was so tired, that I even arrived late to the event. Thanks to my cutest assistant Chloe, set up and clean up was a breeze. She set up my jewelry table all by herself while I was enjoying the tea in the dining room.
How did I get so lucky with this beautiful girl…
Thank you Cathy for the delicious food and tea you prepared for us!
sushi night with friends
Friday, October 9th, 2015Lovely Sunday at home
Monday, October 5th, 2015We painted in our backyard this afternoon. The weather was too gorgeous to stay in.
Chloe and Shane told me they built a secrete club house. Well. Well. Well.
So cute! Not a secrete to me anymore. Now I know where to find these guys when they are hiding from me.
They are both painting Venice. This is Shane’s

While chicken dance was happening on my right,
Andrew was talking to the donkey on my left.
