Shane’s first soccer game
Sunday, September 13th, 2015This will be our Saturdays and Sunday mornings for the next two months. Now that we have Shane’s games on early Sundays that means we are going to our Church services at 8:30am. It was tiring, but definitely worth making the adjustment to watch him play!
This was an exciting game to watch! Wow I’m really impressed that all the boys gave their 100% and Shane’s team won!
Kicking off the soccer season
Saturday, September 12th, 2015Chloe’s first soccer game started this morning. Now that she’s in the 3rd grade, they compete against different town teams in Bergen County.
I’m so proud of Chloe for trying hard today. She barely touched the ball last year but this year, she kicked the ball out of her opponent a few times at this very first game!
Love that my parents got to enjoying seeing my kids play before they take off in a couple of weeks…
beautiful gardens
Monday, September 7th, 2015We are taking it easy this labor day weekend getting back to the daily routine and getting over the jet leg slowly.
Just in the afternoon, kids wanted to have a picnic so we packed up a few things and headed over to a little gem spot Andrew found in Cold Spring, NY
I caught a frog and won kids (and Andrew’s) admiration.
I used to catch all kinds of insects, frogs and fish with my hands when I was a kid but I don’t know why my kids are not like that. Especially Chloe, she would scream so loud at any sight of small bugs… She definitely gets that from someone I know… Hmmm.
