breakfast made easy

It’s an icy cold weather outside and we’re making the most out of this weekend by staying warm inside and doing some painting. Chloe and I are recovering from nasty cold/viruses/infections and it was nice to do something productive and relaxing. We talked, we laughed, we hugged, we praised God… what a nice bonding time we had!
My ‘Lobster Friend’

This picture pretty much sums up how my week has been.
I’ve been pretty stressed out about not being able to handle my workload with my poor health condition and after being away from my office, today I decided to go in. Only Chloe started throwing up at 4 in the morning, so I brought her to work with me. Poor girl…she couldn’t even sit up so I gathered all the fabric I could find in the office and laid them out for her to lay down on in the corner of my office.
After she took a nap for an hour or so, I knew I had to take her home. On our way out, she threw up again in the parking lot. all over me.
Rough week. Rough day.
Thanks to our friend Danny & husband, we finally painted Shane’s room last weekend. It wasn’t an easy task as he has such a high ceiling that required an extension ladder to reach the top.
This wall will display Shane’s art work + some of my paintings which I’m working on.
Purchased this papier-mâché stag head from here.
To be continued…
