korean food

Korean braised short ribs. One of our family’s fave! It took me over 3 hours to make it last night but it’s so worth it! Similar recipe here

I’ve been craving all kinds of Korean dishes lately… maybe something to do with watching too much Korean dramas late at night? Hmmm…

If I ever spot Chungmu Kimbap at a Korean grocery store, I would always buy it over regular kimbap. However, non of them really tastes like the “original” like you find them in Korea. So today I searched for the recipe and thought I would give it a try.  I even made my own radish. And I’m so glad I did. 🙂

We had a little tiny baby deer staying with us in our backyard. We think the mommy deer put her here for her protection.

Kids have been very excited (you can imagine!) about our new visitor and kept going outside to see her . We were worried that she may have been an orphan  but mom came back to get her a few days later… We’ll miss you Bambi!
