This morning she ate a whole bowl of seaweed soup with rice before she went to school.
EIGHT things about Chloe…
1. Just this year, she read over 200 chapter books.
2. Early this year she learned to bike without training wheels, learned to swim, tried surfing, joined a soccer team, became a brownie, and is in 2nd grade.
3. She loves to bake pastries and cook with mommy.
4. She makes coffee for us on weekend mornings.
5. She took pottery class and loves it.
6. She learned to sew.
7. She sings silly songs. All the time.
8. She started waking up early to see her Dad off to work.
Shane prayed for dinner tonight and he said,
“Dear God, thank you for making Chloe so we can celebrate her birthday…”
Amen to that!! I’m so thankful that you’re my daughter.
My little baby is eight!
After the events, Chloe and I joined my friends at the Carlyle hotel Bemelmans bar for a quick drink and some desserts. 
Our friend brought some Ladurée macaroons!
Chloe’s big mystery was solved today… she’s always so curious what I do with my girl friends when we go out. We eat sweets, drink sweet cocktails and chit chat!
We set up a little holiday event at Vince on Madison ave, NYC today.
With Ms. Chloe’s help, I set up in no time.
Chloe was my awesome help today!
Thankfully Shane was at work last week and left me these awesome post-it notes. Whenever I have to bring the kids to work for various reasons, (school closing, snow day, sick day, etc…) they write and draw me sweet notes all around my desk!
