My mom couldn’t think of her grandson not having seaweed soup on his birthday. So she woke up super early and made us awesome breakfast for everyone. Thanks Uhm-ma!

Months ago, when we asked Shane about what he wanted to do for his birthday, he told us that he wanted to go to Legoland for his birthday but keep it small and make it just about our family… We thought it was so sweet of him… Then later this week, he asked me when we were getting on the plane to go to California. Wait, what?!

What we didn’t realize until now was he meant going to the Legoland in CALIFORNIA for his birthday weekend. The whole time, I thought he’s so easy… we can go to Upstate NY and spend the day in Legoland in a mall….

Sorry boy, we’re taking you to Yonkers!

About 10 min drive from our house is this gorgeous lake in Ramapo Valley.

It was a perfect short walk right before dinner.

Chloe wanted to learn how to make pancakes so she can make it for her grandma for her birthday.

The next morning, she made breakfast for everyone!
