Chloe went to a Girl Scout sewing and fashion camp this week and today all the girls wore their own designs and walk the “runway”. The teacher introduced Chloe as very creative, very soft spoken at first but who came out of her shell when she began to explain her thought process about her designs. Chloe called her top ice concept matching with her butterfly high and low skirt.

I was blown away. Great job Chloe!

Chloe and Shane went to Pilgrim Bible camp for the past 6 weeks this summer and today they have a presentation for parents showcasing what they learned. They also projected slide shows from the field trips and the overnight retreat which I really appreciated and enjoyed.

Haha, I wonder why they got in trouble. Chloe…

Had a wonderful day…we went to friend’s house after church for an afternoon of fun food and swimming then I headed out to dinner with my close girlfriends.  Love you guys!

Our whole family was invited to a bbq/birthday party today. We had just picked up our very tired kids from the retreat and went straight to the party. So thankful they had a great time and came back safely. 🙂

I’m cooking these guys for my very special guests today…

My parents are visiting us from Korea! 

Kids have been going to this Korean church Bible camp this summer and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Today, my babies are going away on an overnight retreat for the first time! I was super nervous, anxious, worried, freaking out when I dropped them off….  I couldn’t just leave them so I went inside with them and sat next to them hugging and kissing little bit more… and… Shane said…

“Mommy, just go.”

In utter shock, I picked up pieces of my shattered heart on the floor and walked out.

We went to yet another pool party/bbq at our friend’s place today.  Love summer!

They are becoming master divers.

What a beautiful experience…

We had wonderful experience visiting Grounds for Sculpture this weekend.

As we walked through the many beautiful paths we felt like we were part of the art exhibits…

This one by far was the best experience here. I got goose bumps when I walked in to a little secluded path and saw life size Claude Monet sculpture . I felt as though I became part of the history and sneaked a peek in his time. 

“Also on view during Seward Johnson: The Retrospective are works from his Beyond the Frame series. An homage to the Impressionist painters, Beyond the Frame works transform well-known paintings such as Claude Monet’s Garden at Sainte-Addresse and Edouard Manet’s Le Dejeuner sur l’herbe into life-sized three-dimensional tableaux. ”

We got to be in his painting. How awesome.

Chloe had many up close and personal moments with sculptures.

Oh here we go…her obsession with underpants….
