beach day
Friday, August 30th, 2013We went to Sandy hook today to play in the water. The waves were really strong, I had fun riding the waves with kids… until I got knocked down while holding Chloe and we both went down pretty hard and couldn’t get up for the next 4 consecutive waves. Oh boy, I got sand everywhere inside my swimsuit. Chloe was just laughing the whole time. Some kid she is…
We created our own town of igloos.
Only our kids wear goggles on the beach. What can I say, they love their goggles…
and water!
taco night
Thursday, August 29th, 2013exploring the neighborhood
Thursday, August 29th, 2013We made plans to go camping today but we had to cancel because of the crummy weather. Instead, we drove around the neighborhood and found this beautiful park we had been to before but couldn’t find it again. Turns out, it’s only a five min. ride from our new house!
Then we ate Thai for lunch.
reading the bible
Wednesday, August 28th, 2013Chloe has her reading time by herself after our family devotion every night before going to bed. Tonight, she wanted to read more Bible so she sat next to me and read for almost an hour. Now that she’s reading a “big kid’s” version of the Bible called, Day by Day, she’s couldn’t believe how much dramas are in the old testament!
