spring break

Wednesday, April 10th, 2013

Today, I took my beautiful mom and my cutie Chloe for a lunch and a show in the city.

We got so lucked out with a gorgeous spring weather! We spent relaxing time in Bryant park in the morning.

Chloe took a picture of us!

Love the outdoor library here.

Lunch at Bryant Park Grill.

My mom had parsnip soup,

and Chopped Cobb Salad : Maytag blue cheese, avocado, bacon, hardboiled egg, olives, onion, fire-roasted peppers, sliced radish, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette with Grilled Shrimp

I had Bryant Park Sea Grill: whole Maine lobster, diver scallops, jumbo shrimp, saffron tomato rice, herb lemon butter sauce. Yum!

Chloe had Fontina Mushroom Ravioli in a Parmesan Broth: peas, spinach, baby artichokes, tomato, shitake mushrooms, roasted garlic

She finished the whole thing!

Then off to a Broadway show: Cinderella!

Half time snack: Magnolia cupcakes. 🙂

We absolutely loved the show! What an awesome day with my girls. 🙂

friend’s birthday party

Saturday, April 6th, 2013

This is the fifth consecutive weekends where we went to one of the kids’ friends birthday parties at different kids venues. Andrew and I have been taking turns taking the kids and today was my turn. I was actually looking forward to this one because it was my close church friend’s kids party so I knew I can hang out with my friends too. 🙂

MJ got the “mother-of-the-day” award for sliding and climbing every single inflated things here with her daughter. She got my standing ovation.

Uncle Aus also got the applause from me.

The first time I took the kids to BounceU a few weeks ago, Shane said to me:

“Mommy, I never want to leave this place.”

Happy birthday princess!

family day

Saturday, April 6th, 2013

This morning we started the day early and went to Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, NY. We were here last year during fall season and we really enjoyed the visit.

We’ve been SO busy with house hunting for the last few weekends that this short outing was what the whole family needed.

We have a busy schedule ahead of us again this weekend, between the kid’s friends birthday party, play dates, my girls night, Andrew’s family get together for his dad’s memorial dinner and of course more house hunting in between…

Satisfied eaters. 🙂

night out

Saturday, March 16th, 2013

I met with my closest  girlfriends for drinks and dinner at SakaMai.

Now that we are all moms we eat more than we drink. We used to do the opposite!

grandparents are back!

Tuesday, March 12th, 2013

I am beyond ecstatic that my parents are here visiting us again after 1 year. My mom is now cancer free and I feel so blessed… I’m looking forward to spend much quality time with her.

My kids are also very excited and happy. Shane especially is having a ball and he’s been telling his grandparents how much he loves them. Many many times a day. 🙂
