“Mommy mommy, we have a bambi in our lawn!” “Look there’s mommy deer too!” Squeaked kids.

They are the first guests since we moved!

made place cards with our names and wrote something to describe us.

What a busy and wonderful weekend we had.

We bought some plants for the house at a local farmer’s market.

I also picked flowers from outside of our house.

I’m unpacking some of my art works from college which I haven’t seen in years… Maybe I’ll hang some…

Breakfast

After the service, I had a craving for Jajangmyeon, (black bean noodles) so here we are… feeding my junk food cravings…

The sellers left us this air hockey table which we love!

And some fish too.

Ending the day with a relaxing bath.

Even though I was extremely exhausted from the move, my body just woke up at 5:30am and I was anxious to start cooking again. So I made some blueberry scones and fig & brie grilled cheese  for breakfast this morning. I’m loving all the space in the kitchen!

First dish I made in the new house: Baked pasta with roasted vegetables. Simple, easy and delicious!

We moved in to the house on Tuesday, then had to sleep in our old house in Teaneck because we didn’t close on the house until Wednesday.

By Thursday night, I pretty much unpacked all the kitchen stuff and was ready to cook!

Today, kids see the house for the first time! I wanted to capture their face expressions but they just ran in so fast…

They were very happy, to say the least.

I knew they will get a kick out of the rope tree swing.

Looking forward to making many special memories here…
