What’s he up to now??

Today I spent the whole day running errands with Chloe for her birthday preparation + Christmas shopping. Chloe picked out this dress and the heart necklace as part of her birthday gifts from Andrew.

I can’t believe she’s already turning six! Here’s 6 things about her.

1. Chloe’s a good sharer. She loves to share anything she has with the rest of the family. If someone gives her a cookie, she asks for another one so she can give one to Shane. Her piano teacher gives her a small candy after every lesson, and she always asks for one more for Shane.

2. She’s very fair. No matter how many times I asks her who she loves more, mommy or daddy, she always says mommy AND daddy. She’s said that ever since she could talk. But I got jealous for her making 2-3 books about how much she loves daddy and misses him during his business trip last month. So I wanted to crack her.

Me: Chloe, it’s okay if you tell me that  you love daddy more. Just admit it. You love him more than me, right?
Chloe: Nooo, I love you guys both equally.
Me: Really, Chloe, it’s okay I won’t get mad. I love you more than Shane. Just tell me.
Chloe: What!? You’re lying!
Me: no…. Chloe, just be honest.
Chloe: Ohhhhhhhh, I’m telling Shane!

(I know, I know. I should be ashamed of myself… not my proudest moment)

3. She wants to be an author. She’s been writing stories and putting them together to make books.

4. She doesn’t like her eye brows.

5. Her goal is to have all the barbies in the world.

6. She’s allergic to pants.

I love you CHLOE! You melt my heart.

Chloe’s been into writing her own books. She put together book 1 & 2 for Andrew when he was away on business this month.

She wants to be an author/fashion designer when she grows up. 🙂

We went to the city to see the tree at the Rock.

Then, we walked over to the Bryant park to check out the holiday shops.
