Sunday, July 22nd, 2012one*on*one date
Saturday, July 21st, 2012Today we’re having one-on-one date with our kids. Shane went to go have boy’s day with Andrew and I took Chloe to a book store then had a lovely lunch afterwards. Had a wonderful time with my girl!
chloe lost her first tooth!
Tuesday, July 17th, 2012I gave her a peach after dinner and after she finished eating it, she came upstairs to brush her teeth. Then I heard a gasp! She was looking at the bathroom mirror and realized her loose tooth was gone!
So we both ran downstairs and looked for the tooth in the sink where she put the plate in. And I found her little tiny tooth!
It was so funny and I was so relieved that we found it. She then drew the incident on the letter to the tooth fairy exactly how it happened. This is too precious!
dinner at mole
Sunday, July 15th, 2012We went to Williamsburg, Brooklyn to meet up with more friends for dinner.
We’ve been wanting to eat here since the last time and it was even better than I remembered. Yum Yum!

Kids seemed okay by themselves so I decided to ride on one too!
Aren’t I so funny… I’m pretending I’m sleeping.
Hi, little Andrew & uncle T
The pops.
Little Andrew loved it. 🙂 He had 3 of those.

It is so HOT outside today. Before we melt in the street, we found a café nearby to cool off.

bake or break
Saturday, July 14th, 2012We’re meeting up with our friends in Brooklyn tomorrow so I thought that it would be fun to bring some cake pops as treats for the kids.
Shane and Chloe love helping me in the kitchen and did a great job!
I don’t bake often and it’s my first attempt to make cake pops. Given that, even though it didn’t come out exactly how I wanted, I think it tasted good enough to share with friends… I think… We’ll see…
breakfast this morning
Saturday, July 14th, 2012I made a separate breakfast for myself this morning. My kids don’t like mushrooms and I didn’t feel like fighting with them. SO, I made a fresh mushroom and parsley salad just for me.
And this is what the kids ate. Nutella and mascarpone on baguette with blueberries and greet yogurt with granola and honey.
Then we played.
