happy mother’s day

Sunday, May 8th, 2011

Chloe put the little flowers along with the card on my night stand yesterday, “so you can wake up smelling the flowers!” she said.

Then this morning she said, “Happy Mother’s day, HaeWon!”

Are we on the first name basis now? Lol.

Shane’s card (not written by him though)

family walkathon at school

Friday, May 6th, 2011

Kids school had a family walkathon with parents today.

I can spot Chloe’s drawing from miles away. Hers is right above Sarah’s on the bottom.

Shane’s class room

We walked around the block with our “passports” from one country to another, getting stamps.

Shane’s thick chunky hand. I love holding his paws, I mean hands.

Waiting for his sister.

So they didn’t see each other for about 15 min, but they act like they haven’t see each other for months! So cute. 🙂

I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most joyous event for my good friends. I couldn’t be any more happier for them… Congratulations!!

After the shower, my friends and I went to Danny’s favorite joint in K-town and found this note. How sweet!!

We had high hopes of going to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden for the cherry blossom festival…

The place was packed. The parking lot was full, and there was so much traffic, we had to give up that idea.

Instead, we went to my old neighborhood, Brooklyn Heights for lunch and hung out there for the rest of the afternoon.

We took a stroll through the neighborhood reminiscing our days here before the kids… and down the Promenade on this beautiful Spring day.

This is classic New York all the way.

Chloe loves playing on the monkey bars.

play date and easter eggs

Monday, April 25th, 2011

We had such a fun day playing at Naomi’s house today.

The new addition to the Wei Family, Mikaela! What a beauty. Her eyes are so mesmerizing…

Two princesses!

Shane loves these two puppies. He’s trying to give one of them a kiss in this photo.

Thank you guys for having us over! It was a wonderful treat. 🙂

day with chloe

Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

I took Chloe for a shopping/errand day in the city. I had appointments with vendors all morning and had to buy more merchandise for my jewelry biz.

When we walked through Time square, she said, “this is a crazy city!”

Chloe, waiting so patiently, coloring during my shopping.

Late lunch at 2. She finished the whole bowl of pork chops. Then she said with a sweet smile, “I told you I was hungry.”

Chloe was such a sweet angel today. She walked a lot without any complains, waited patiently during my meetings, and was a good sport. What a trooper!
