Oh Shane… the things you say cracks me up.

I finally painted the chalkboard in the kitchen. Chloe loves it. When it’s cold out, I tend to take on more projects at home. What’s next?

Shane likes to hang out in the cold, while his daddy’s shoving the snow.

We’ve been getting hit with snowstorms every week since December. Plus, Shane and Andrew both had stomach bugs and Chloe has this ongoing cold. This winter’s been so brutal…

Christmas Service. I had been anticipating this moment for a long time. My kids’ very first performance at church… I had them practicing the song at home, setting up the stage (our fireplace) with microphones, and I even told Chloe to stand next to Shane when they got up there so mommy can take pictures, … and after all that, when the day arrived and I took out my camera, my battery was dead.

Fortunately, I borrowed my friend’s camera quick enough to take a couple of shots. I missed all the actions though while trying to figure out the camera. Andrew told me that when Shane saw us, he started laughing and stomping his feet and that made everyone laugh.

Going to New Year’s day dinner at my mother-in-law’s

We tried teaching them to bow down to their grandmother wishing her a happy new year. They were so serious listening to instructions.
