Wednesday, September 1st, 2010Today, we are heading back to New York. I feel relieved that we are almost at the end of the trip but at the same time, I might miss this place. As hard as it was, handling two kids w/o Andrew and averaging about 5 hours of sleep everyday, I have to say I am happy that we did this trip. I feel the victory. I did it. (well, with my parents' help, of course).
My mom and I had our first down time to ourselves for about 30 min this evening while my dad watched my kids.
Shane napped for 4 hours and Chloe napped for 3 hours this afternoon. Haha, I guess they are tired too!

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010Peggys Cove in Halifax
We got off the ship and did a drive to Peggy's Cove. After putting the kids and my parents at a local restaurant where it was safe for the kids, I came out by myself to take pictures and enjoy standing on the large chucks of rocks overlooking across the ocean. The famous lighthouse, the crashing of the waves against land and the colorfull fishing vilages on the south shore was picture perfect.
watching yet another beautiful sunset back on our ship… bye bye Nova Scotia~
He's been running around this ship for the past 3 days and today, he decided no more walking. I carried him ALL DAY. ALL EVENING. EVERYWHERE. If he wasn't running away from me, he wanted to be held. I can see that this little guy is also tired and being so active, his legs must be hurting by now. So I get it. He's tired. But then, why can't he just sit still and relax?
Another feast of great food at the dinner table. Not only that, the buffets, Sushi bars, Burrito bars, Noodle stations, and Fish n'chips bars were all excellent. Even my parents who are food connoisseurs were very impressed with the food. If it wasn't for hopping from one buffets to another, the kids' would've exhausted me a long, long time ago. Anyone who's spent as little as half an hour with them would know that my kids are exceptionally active. Therefore, I ate. And ate. A lot.
st. john + movie night + dancing + food
Monday, August 30th, 2010Room service breakfast
Discovered captain crunch. Yum.
During the port days, they babysit toddlers until noon. So my parents and I went out to check out the city of St. John for a couple of hours, leaving the kids at the cruise camp.
a happy couple

In the afternoon, they showed an outdoor movie, Princess and the Frog, one of Chloe's favorite movie.

There's nothing like watching your children playing together and enjoying each other…
