preparing for school
Wednesday, March 31st, 2010I packed blankets, sheets, extra clothes, shoes, snacks and prepared their lunches for tomorrow.
Everything will be so new to the kids tomorrow especially for Shane. So I'm making his favorite beef dish for lunch so he can taste something familiar.
I put crazy loads of veggies into this dish. It's got broccoli, cilantro, yellow pepper, kale (I always put this in every dish now), scallion, onion, garlic, kiwi, and ginger. Hope you like this, kids!
closing a chapter
Tuesday, March 30th, 2010Last Friday was Chloe's last day at the Tenafly Montessori school. She's been attending the school since she was 15 months old. It was harder for me to say goodbye then it was for Chloe. I guess because the school meant a big chunk of her childhood… the friends and teachers she talks about, the projects she did, the presents she made me, the Hebrew words she says sometime, all that foreign songs she sings, the times she came home with green hands with green shirts, and the time she made Andrew a Yamaka for father's day… are behind us. We are moving on!
We also said goodbye to Jennifer who's been Shane's fulltime nanny since last summer. Shane and Chloe will be attending a new school together starting April 1st. The kids absolutely adore her and I always felt that they were in safe hands when they were with her. She's been a big help to me and an unforgettable friend to Chloe and Shane.

Saturday, March 27th, 2010hall of science
Sunday, March 21st, 2010We finally got together with the Mun family at New York Hall of Science in Queens. I was very impressed with its 3 levels of fun, interesting, educational and interactive exhibits.
The boys dance off!
The kids also loved the outdoor space with slides, climbing nets, flowing water and a hill to roll down.
Chloe didn't want to come down by herself.
So the boys cheered for her, waiting on the other side.
Chloe giving aunt Eura a kiss in exchange for a lollipop.
Bye bye Rilee~
We had so much fun with you guys! Thank you for spending time with us. We have to do it again very soon. 🙂
out
Saturday, March 20th, 2010We went to Haverstraw Bay Park by the Hudson river. Great view. Great weather. Great day spent with the kids.
We found this cute Latin Fusion cuisine restaurant in town called Union.
We took the desert and ate at the park.
She's the most serious when she's eating. Chocolate cake that is.
and he's always running.
It was so nice to be finally out!
working offsite
Thursday, March 18th, 2010Today I had an assignment to work in the city, setting up a conference room at Le Parker Meridien.
Around a curtained corner in this luxurious midtown hotel, a neon burger sign points to the city's best burger joint, called the Burger Joint.
Every bite was worth the long wait. Plus my strawberry milk shake.
then I had two of these to top it off.
first photo shoot
Monday, March 15th, 2010I've been working on revamping my jewelry website and I had my first photo shoot. Here are some of the previews.
A few new collections will be launching in the next few weeks, including a new baby line. Please be sure to check it out then. It was a pleasure working with you, Paola. Thanks for making my job so easy!
