My mom made abalone rice soup,

and lobster and shrimp sandwich for Sunday brunch. It's a blessing having my parents stay with us this summer. We're so lucky!

My friend Julie planned a beautiful surprise party for her husband, Ben. Not only did she pull it off successfully, she did it while looking gorgeous.

We are the happiest when we are together.

We checked out this new Overpeck County park, just a couple of minutes drive from our house, supposedly a Bergen County's version of *Central Park*.  Its 154 acre of land boasts an amphitheater with 3000 lawn seats, bike trails, several tennis courts, soccer, and baseball fields and well planned playgrounds for toddlers/kids.

We'll be coming here often.

We were driving home from the State Fair when,

Chloe: I need to poop! I need to poop!
Andrew: Do you need to use a potty?
Chloe: Uh…do you want me to poop on my pants?
Andrew: Is that a threat?!?!?

So we stopped at a nearest park so she can use her portable potty.
And we happened to find this beautiful nature trail by lake Kemah.

Shane likes to collect rocks

We went to New Jersey State Fair in Sussex County. 

Where did Shane go?

Oh, there he is…squeezed next to a giant man. 

Chloe caught a fish.

As a prize, she picked the crayon balloon.

We ALL rode on this jumbo elephant rides. I felt dizzy~

Crazy fun!

I took Chloe to her first ballet class in the late afternoon. She's been asking me to take her to a ballet school since last year so I thought I would surprise her for a little treat. She was so excited and when we got there before I finish saying, "I will be right upstairs watching you in the…", she took off her shoes and walked right up to the teacher. (I mean, is this the same girl who still cries when I drop her at school in the mornings?)

She really enjoyed it and was quiet good at following instructions. 

When I asked her what was her favorite part she said,

"the princess walk!"

This is hilarious. Andrew told her to cast a spell to destroy a dragon so Chloe's shouting, "Fire!"

"Lightning!"

"Water!"

"Ok, I'm done."
