I came home from work today and Jennifer had some surprise pictures for me. My boy took his first steps!!

Yeah!!! Looks like he even knew he had accomplished something and was proud of himself too.

I didn’t get to take photos of the decorations before the guest arrived. Good thing we hired David again to capture the event. In the meantime, here what I have.

Shane ate his first cake!

Shane started walking on september, 9th just in time for his birthday. This is such cute picture of Chloe, Shane & Rilee. 🙂

Chloe was so sweet helping Shane with walking. She knew the party was for Shane and wished him happy birthday many many times.

My parents bought Shane’s outfit from Korea and sent it to us by mail. Thank you, mom & dad!

My $60 coffee table from IKEA is finally done. It’s a bit messy and it did not turn out exactly how I wanted but I’m okay with it for now. Most of the work went into the design of the motif and making it into a stencil, then I spray painted the table. Hopefully this will add some color to go with my green sofa in the living room.

This morning I made fried eggplant topped with tomato marinara sauce with basil. All ingredients freshly picked from our garden.

How big is Shane?

We enjoyed the cool fall weather this weekend and really embraced the moments with the kids. This summer has been many long hours of work for Andrew and we are finally happy to spend more time as a family. This holiday is just about enjoying each other. 

We went back to a park we found in Haworth. The thing I love about living in the burb is that you can always find great parks nearby that’s not crowded. It felt just like our own backyard, but bigger.

I’m almost three! 

What a character she is. Sometimes I look at her and wonder where she came from. Seriously, who IS she? Where DID she come from?? haha I wouldn’t have her any other way. 🙂
