The Ride…

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

Chloe ran around and round on the ferry a few times. I mostly enjoyed watching Chloe running and Andrew sweating profusely running after her. The only time she sat down was when I gave her my sunglasses. She also waived at small boats as we passed them by and learned to say “ë°°” which means boat. It was a quite a long ride so we spent the last half hour or so, napping in the car. We finally arrived at Delaware after an hour and a half later.

Waiting for the Ferry

Chloe sneezes twice when she’s exposed to bright sunlight, just like Andrew.
Waiting for the Ferry to take us to Delaware.
Here it is!

Holiday-Cape May

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

We decided we are going to do local trips for this summer since my doctor advised me not to travel long distance, and we are definitely not flying since the incidents in Florida (I fainted shortly after BOTH airplane ride in front of my entire co-workers… yeah I was pretty famous there).
We spent one night on the shore then drove further down to Cape May where we enjoyed some delicious sea food. Chloe tried crabs for the first time and she was fine with it. What she really loved was French fries. She couldn’t have enough of them.
She even had some strawberry daquiris (which I was so convinced I tasted little rum, but Andrew told me I was imagining things.)

My Studio

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

This is my favorite room in the house. I’ve got everything I need to be creative in there… that includes my tiny 6 inch TV. Sometimes, I would just sit there without doing anything and that makes me feel productive…

I love to draw, although I don’t get to do it as often as I would like to since my years in college. I always thought, when I was living in a studio in the city, that one day when I own a house, I would designate a room for painting. But now that we have a house, my priority has changed. We have to make rooms for our babies first. In the meantime, I’m happy I get to do it little bit for work.
