Grandma’s Big Birthday!!
Monday, September 15th, 2008
We are so thankful that we were able to celebrate my mom’s big 60th birthday together. We couldn’t do anything big for her because of my pregnancy but hopefully if the baby #2 is easy going enough, we will be able to take a short trip as a family soon… Happy birthday, grandma! We love you so much!!!

Saturday, September 13th, 2008Can You See Chloe?
Friday, September 12th, 2008
Chloe, Chloe, Chloe. I’ve never seen anything cuter than this. When she knows she’s about to get yelled at, she closes her eyes. I think she thinks we can’t see her if she closes her eyes. She also does this when there’s someone (mostly man) whom she thinks is scary looking. She closes her eyes and hides them with her hands. We had a guy come in this afternoon to fix something in the kitchen and when she saw him in the house, that’s exactly what she did. Hilarious! She was having snack with my mom and she ate two cookies and one yogurt with her eyes closed, refusing to see the man.Â
They Are Here!

My parents arrived last night! We are so happy to see them again and I was especially excited to see Chloe’s reaction. My mom couldn’t wait until the morning, and of course, Chloe slept in late so we decided to wake her up. When she saw my mom, she closed her eyes. She was being shy for a moment then she said, “Grandma!” What a sweet reunion that was…
The first day back for my parents wasn’t easy because Chloe came down with a virus in her gum which caused her to be cranky, and hungry as she couldn’t really eat. She cried all day, whining and complaining… except for the time when we took her to a park.
Mommy Mommy Mommy Time

I started my maternity leave this week. I plan to spend as much time as possible with Chloe before the baby #2 arrives. I took her to a local park in the morning and we had a wonderful time together. She was very sweet and cooperative. We packed our breakfast and ate at the park. Then in the afternoon we went to our town library for the first time. I think we’ll go back when she’s more ready to sit still rather than run around taking out books everywhere.

Sunday, August 24th, 2008Big Cousin Christine
Sunday, August 17th, 2008Andrew’s family got together for Christine’s farewell dinner as she goes off to college next week. I can’t believe how grown up she looks. She was only about 11 years old when I first met her… how time flies… Congratulations and best luck to you, pretty girl! 🙂
