brave heart

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

We took him to see a pediatric cardiologist last week to get his heart checked out since there was an extremely small probability that there may have been a hole. He had to have an echo-cardiogram and the nurse had to put tapes all over his body, clipping several cables to them. It was very painful for me to watch but he held it in and was calm through most of the 25 min process…he took it like a champ. My mom and I were amazed at his boldness. We joked saying if Chloe had to ever go through this, the building would’ve exploded at the sound of her scream. 🙂 We are happy to report that his heart couldn’t be any healthier.
He has a brave heart!

My first purchase since Shane. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these. They are from my favorite store Anthropologie.

Teddy

Here’s the story about this teddy bear. When I moved to new york city after graduating college, I got a package from my parents in Korea. In the package, amongst my favorite snacks and food, there was this teddy bear. Okay, I know this may be silly, but when I was young, I had more than 70 stuffed animals. That’s how much I loved them. I confess I always slept with one and until… well recently when Chloe took this teddy from me. This teddy’s been through ups and downs with me since my single days in the city. I don’t know why but Chloe LOVES LOVES this teddy more than anything. We bought her so many other new ones but this is the one for her. She carries it everywhere she goes, sleeps with it, watches TV with it, dances with it…well, you get the point. Even when I dance with Chloe, she asks me to hold teddy while the two…rather three of us dance.
