I love this white hoodie on Chloe. It’s a perfect summer ‘after the rain’ outfit. Thanks Chae for the many many cute outfits! 🙂

Chloe By Ashley

Friday, August 10th, 2007

This portrait of Chloe was done by Ashley, who is a new rising star of the family, “an artist to watch”, a.k.a. Chloe’s 4th oldest cousin out of 11. Chloe was so happy she got to spend time with Ashley(13 yrs. old) and Kelly (9 yrs. old) this afternoon.

Sunday Brunch

Sunday, August 5th, 2007

We took Chloe to a trendy downtown resturant in the city to meet our friends for brunch today. Chloe also got to hang out with Rilee.

From the left: Eura, Rilee, Chloe & me…wait, who’s that dude posing in the background? He’s a Canadian! 😉

Chloe had fun hanging out with our friends for a while… until she couldn’t take the loud music anymore. She’s used to the quite suburban lifestyle. She was happy to be home. 🙂

Hello There!

Thursday, August 2nd, 2007

I was shocked to see Chloe standing in her crib this evening. I placed her in the crib to get her bath ready and when I came back a few seconds later, she was standing and waving at me. Recently, her favorite activity has been crawling on me, then grabbing and using me as a tool to stand herself up. This is the first time she got up by herself.
Time to lower the mattress again!~

She’s a Handful!

Lunch Break

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

I love that I can come home during lunch hour to spend time with her. She had broccoli for the first time today. I was worried she might not eat it but she actually enjoyed it. Oh and, she drinks water from a regular cup now. Impressive~

Chloe loves looking at photographs and paintings at home so we thought she’ll get a kick out of being at a museum. My super baby. 🙂
This one is cleary not her favorite.
She told me she likes mommy’s drawings better. 🙂
It was one of those perfect Saturday afternoons…

Super Baby Food

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

I’m so hooked on this book called “Super Baby Food”. I bought it when I was pregnant not knowing anything about what babies can eat, which the title alone sounded good enough for me to buy. Little did I know, a very resourceful mother (Susan Kang) I know also refered me to this book recently. This is like an encyclopedia for baby food, and even adults can benefit from this. Every morning before I go to work, I prepare Chloe’s food. I now understand why mothers and grandmothers(especially Koreans) are always encouraging us to eat, eat, and eat more. It’s such a joy to see them enjoy what you made for them!
