(U)nexpected (B)aby (S)urprise visit

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

I had a meeting in the city office this morning so I brought Chloe with me to New York today. She enjoyed the stoller ride with my parents at Bloomingdale’s, while I was at work. Afterwards, we suprised Andrew by visiting him at his work. Chloe doesn’t usually get to see him very much during the week, so it was a very pleasant and happy rendezvous for both of them. Chloe got to meet his boss and asked him to send daddy home early today. No wait…that was me. 🙂

We visited a town called Sugar Loaf in upstate where leaves have already turned to thier fancy colors. It was a beautiful day spent with my beautiful family.

GRAND • Parents

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

My parents arrived Wednesday night from Korea. It was absolutely wonderful seeing Chloe interacting well with them. I suspect she remembers them from six months ago and was anticipating this moment. Initially, she’s usually shy (sometimes cries) when a stranger is trying to hold her but with my mom, Chloe reach out when she first saw her. Then, Chloe started to bust out with all sorts of tricks for them by the following afternoon. She was repeating little words my mom was saying like, “gigi” and “kka kka”, also performed her famous butt dance followed by her clapping feet gig, just to name the few. She even seemed like she was understanding our conversations. Immediately, my parents were convinced that we have a genius in the family… of course, along with their two other grandsons. 🙂 Chole was at her most happiest self this weekend. We all had a GRAND time!

Swing Dance

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

We took Chloe to a park in Tarrytown, upstate New York, where she enjoyed the real swing. She also began to dance these days whenever she hears music, or beat. She definitely got that genes from me, not her dad. 🙂 Her favorite tune, besides her baby Bible songs, are my train song and Andrew’s drum beat. My train song and dance can not only make her stop crying instantly, but can have her laughing almost immediately.

FALL in Love

Sunday, October 21st, 2007

It was a crisp cold autumn day at the mountain. We went apple picking in Warwick. It was a beautiful town but what we enjoyed more was the drive there through the mountains and lakes. As the weather was getting windier, I could feel Chloe’s hands digging deeper into me. Oh how I love her so deeply.
