BIRTHDAY DINNER

Monday, September 28th, 2020

Another birthday in the books. Happy birthday Andrew!

Chloe and I went groceries which took 2.5 hrs and Shane helped me with cooking slow-cooked beef brisket with pappardelle for dinner. Great teamwork, guys!

This concludes all the September birthdays!

12!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday, September 21st, 2020

This guy!!! He doesn’t ask for anything for his birthday, not a party not even a present! When he came home from school I surprised him with a little outdoor tent dining in the back yard with his favorite food, sushi. I also went crazy and bought all the junk food he has ever asked for in the past which I always said no to, like cheetos, cream soda, etc… when he saw them, he was beyond shocked. Lol. He was so happy (even got teary eyed) and thanked me a million times.
He. Melts. My. Heart. Every. Day.
Happy birthday to my son! You make me so proud and so happy. Thank you for being who you are.  I am so infinity grateful to God for having you in my life. Love you son.

MEANWHILE…

Wednesday, August 5th, 2020

We got hit by some kind of tropical storm and our neighbor’s trees fell on our properties, and branches and debris fell everywhere on my garden. Thankfully we didn’t lose our power like so many of people in our neighborhood.

My boy cleaning up the patio!

AN ANGEL BY MY SIDE…

Monday, August 3rd, 2020

Chloe has been by my side, helping me getting up and down, getting me water and food, and even reading to me. What an angel…

We also spent time watching girly chick flicks like Breakfast At Tiffiany’s (which turned out to be not so appropriate btw ;P) and Clueless and enjoyed some quality girls only time. How did I get so lucky…

MY NEW SPOT

Monday, July 6th, 2020

I created an outdoor space for myself. I come down here with my coffee and do my morning devotions, looking at my ever-growing garden.

And sometimes, we have breakfast here.

GARDEN PROGRESS

Saturday, July 4th, 2020

I’ve been going to local nursery every week, adding more flowers to my backyard garden. It’s coming along nicely. I just hope that I keep them alive and well.
My vegetable gardening has been going really well! Hopefully we’ll get some cucumbers and peppers real soon.
