I went out for some shopping with just Chloe and my mom. It's SO great that we can take Chloe to shop with us now that she's old enough (to know to not run away from us). She was making friends everywhere we went, talking to sales people and showing off her painted finger nails.  We've been talking about stopping her thumb sucking habit and I thought I would encourage her by painting her nails pink. I'm not sure if I did the right thing… She seems tooooo happy about it… and she's still sucking her finger.

I told Chloe that I had a hard day at work today. 

Chloe: Mommy, when I grow up, I put on a sweater and put on a jacket, I get my shoes on and I go to work with you. And everybody will be scared of me and all the people will afraid of you! (while making two little fists)
Me: Ha ha Chloe, you will?
Chloe: Of course! Would you like that mommy?

Chloe made this piece of cake with a candle (above picture) and I was making the mermaid, when… 

Chloe: Are you making a mermaid?
Me: Yes, Chloe. I am making a beautiful mermaid and you are making a delicious piece of cake.
Chloe: You're making a mermaid for me?
Me: No… I am making ME a mermaid. YOU are making you a piece of cake.
Chloe: No, no, no, that's my mermaid.
Me: How is this your mermaid? I'm making it.
Chloe: You're making the mermaid for me, because you are my assistant!
Me: Excuse me?? Do you even know what that means?
Chloe: (smiles)
Me: Chloe, do you know what assistant means?
Chloe: It means you're my HELPER!

It snowed, snowed and snowed… Andrew, Chloe and I had a blast playing with snow.

I pushed her  into snow. She loved it. 

Took her a while to get up.

Then Andrew pushed her.

Now, she's coming towards me to push me into snow.

Ha ha, I got her again.

I flew to Boca Raton, Florida this week for a client meeting. I'm playing solo today and tomorrow.

This bird came up to me and sat down arms reach.

This was the closest I came to the ocean. I never came back to the beach again. Damn work.

I stayed upt until mid-night and work woke me up at 6 AM. 

We took the kids to this place called Kid Juction in Branchburg, NJ. They had a blast running around, climbing, shopping and letting their pent up energy out.

He's a very bright and brave boy.

He loves to play with blocks and legos. He would stack'em up high, then knock'em down and say "Oh no!' rasing his arms up high.

The other day, he fell on his head playing and when I ran to him and held him, he said, "I'm okay" 

He follows everything Chloe does. He loves to climb and loves to jump. He repeats everything we ask him to repeat. He can say about 20 words now.

We drove to Long Island to eat lobsters. Long drive. Worth it.

The kids entertained us by singing songs all the way home. Shane loves to repeat everything we say, and do everything Chloe does.
