Sunday, March 6th, 2016Feels like spring~
Sunday, March 6th, 2016Chloe’s reading outside enjoy the unusually warm spring weather this morning.
She made herself a berry juice with fresh chopped strawberries and blueberries. So cute.
Andrew and I are both down with a cold so the kids are left to entertain themselves this weekend. I’ve been in bed all day and when I looked outside from my bedroom window, I saw them having a picnic. 🙂
good friends & food
Saturday, February 20th, 2016For appetizers, I had sliced salami, cheese, fig jam and crackers in one plate and dates & gorgonzola cheese drizzled with honey on the other.
Roasted butternut squash salad with warm cider vinaigrette
Cowboy rubbed rib eye with chocolate stout pan sauce
The rub recipe was amazing.
8 adults, 4 bottles of wine… I say we had a good time. 🙂

Friday, February 19th, 2016Broadway show – Finding Neverland
Wednesday, February 17th, 2016I took off work today to take the kids to see the Finding Neverland Broadway musical today. So excited!
We walked through the Grand Central to meet Andrew for lunch before the show.
My sophisticated Chloe ordered a new England clam chowder and fried oyster for herself.
I had eggs Benedict with salmon and bloody mary. Yum.
Finally the show!
This quickly became Shane’s favorite musical! I also thought it was spectacular show! The cast, led by Kelsey Grammar gave a stellar performance. I laughed and cried. We all loved it!
Intermission snack: Magnolia’s cupcakes
We came back to NJ and had Korean BBQ for dinner. Overall a fantastic day!
Play date
Tuesday, February 16th, 2016I don’t normally get to plan play dates for my kids and I always feel bad for that. Since the kids are off this week, I worked from home today and was able to have one of Chloe’s friends over for a play.
Lunch: sole meuniere with steamed broccoli
I’m glad Shane also had fun playing with the girls.

Sunday, February 7th, 2016Kids and I spent the afternoon painting.
My painting: I wanted to paint how massive some of those trails were and how peaceful it was. If you look close you can find all of us in this painting.
Shane’s painting: Our family skiing/snowboarding together
Chloe’s: She wanted to paint the condo building we stayed at.
